BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Over two thousand people from all over Kern County gathered yesterday for the Bakersfield Day of Resistance to support their 2nd Amendment rights.

Gun right supporters attended the event and were able to speak out against President Obama's proposed ban on  assault rifles and high capacity magazines.

Senator Fuller said people do not want their second amendment right taken away.

"Were not going to tolerate someone taking away our guns."

Fuller further added that the guns needed to instead be taken away from criminals.
