BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A Garces Memorial High School baseball coach accused of having a sexual relationship with a student is scheduled to make his first appearance in front of a judge Wednesday.
25-year-old Jon Aleczander Sweet remained jailed on $67,500 bail when 23ABC checked Wednesday morning.
The freshman assistant coach was arrested Monday night, according to Bakersfield police, on three felony charges. Investigators say he had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student over a three-month span.
Sweet is scheduled in court for three o'clock Wednesday afternoon for his felony arraignment.
