BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Mission at Kern County is one designated Cooling Center in town where homeless guests and the surrounding community can go as the temperatures start to climb into the triple digits.
The Mission will provide a safe and cool environment where guests and neighbors can find relief from the extreme temperatures in Kern County.
