Three Men Hospitalized After Southeast Bakersfield Shooting

BAKERSFIELD, Calif - Bakersfield police are searching for a suspect who gunned down three men at a Southeast Bakersfield Market.

The BPD went to Aneese Market on the 600 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard at about 8 p.m., when reports of gunfire came in.

Upon arrival, officers said they found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

During the investigation, a third victim of a gunshot wound, who was previously at the market, was found a few blocks away.

Witnesses said the men were walking in front of the Market, when the shooter came from the North side of the building and opened fire.

Witnesses said the men were shot several times, one of them was hit in the head. 

According to officials, all three victims were taken to a local hospital for their injuries.

Police have not released any suspect information at this time. The investigation is still ongoing.
