BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A toddler is recovering this morning after he was hit by a car in Central Bakersfield.
On Thursday evening, near the Food-Maxx at Union and east 11th Street, witnesses said the boy was walking with his mother and three other children when he ran ahead of the group and was hit by a SUV.
He was taken to KMC with moderate injuries
Police said the driver of the SUV is not facing any criminal charges.
