BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The California Highway Patrol reopened had all lanes on the Southbound State Route 99 at Olive Drive after a crash involving multiple vehicles and a semi-truck.
The crash happened right before 4 p.m. and involved nine vehicles. There was also fluid on the roads that needed to be cleaned up.
Traffic was backed up for up to 10 miles. Several injuries were reported and they were taken to Kern Medical Center. There has been no report on the extent of those injuries.
The California Highway Patrol website says that the crash is cleaned up and all roadways are clear.
