BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Westbound Ming Avenue near Old River Road is shut down for investigation after a crash involving three cars.
Bakersfield Police have confirmed 66-year-old Linda Sue Beason has died in the crash.
The initial investigation indicated that a 2004 black Dodge pickup truck was traveling northbound on Old River Road when he ran the red light and struck a white 2001 Chevrolet pickup that was operated by Beason.
The white Chevrolet was then pushed into a 2006 Honda minivan.
The drivers of the Dodge pickup and the Honda minivan were uninjured.
The investigation in this collision is ongoing.
Police said drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor in this collision.
