BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Earlier this week, a project went from bad to worse for one Army veteran trying to help victims of the Oklahoma tornadoes.
For weeks, Justin Davis collected items to help families rebuild after they lost everything in tornadoes last month.
Today, Davis told 23ABC that a trucking company has volunteered to take the items to Oklahoma.
The truck is expected at Davis' house at 3 p.m., but Davis is asking for the community's help in loading the truck.
For anyone wanting to help load the truck, go to 1035 Stine Road at 2:30 p.m.
