Two men in Delano were arrested Tuesday and booked in jail for possession of stolen farm supplies and a handgun.

Kern County Sheriff’s Office detectives investigated 20-year-old David Ramirez of Delano for possibly selling stolen farm supplies on a social media website, according to KCSO.

The items matched items recently reported stolen. Deputies found Ramirez at a residence in Delano in the 2200 block of Norwalk Street.

Deputies found stolen grape packaging supplies and scales worth over $1,000, spools of photovoltaic wire, live ammunition, and more in a building in the backyard through a probation search.

A search warrant was served on the main residence, where deputies found multiple high capacity magazines and a semi-automatic handgun.

David Ramirez and 34-year-old Alfonso Ramirez were taken into custody.

Anyone with information on the investigation is asked to contact the Kern County Sheriff's Office Rural Crime Investigation Unit at 661-392-4365.
