BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - On Friday, Jan. 31 around 2 p.m. deputies from the Kern County Sheriff's Office Rosamond substation served a search warrant at a marijuana dispensary located in the 1700 block of Sierra Highway, officials said.
They arrested 31-year-old Adam Rivera of Tehachapi who was working inside the business, officials said.
Officials said Rivera had an active warrant for his arrest for being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Deputies also arrested 41-year-old David Peralta of Tehachapi who was inside the business and is on parole, officials said.
Deputies said they located three firearms within a safe and over 200 rounds of ammunition.
Peralta and Rivera were both arrested and transported to the Kern County Jail where they were booked on multiple charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition and participation in a criminal street gang, officials said.
