Two people shot in South Bakersfield, minor injuries

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -  

Two people are recovering after a shooting in Bakersfield, Kern County Sheriff deputies said. 

Deputies said shots were fired in the 2100 block of Cecil Brunner Drive around 8 p.m. Saturday night. 

When deputies arrived they said they found one person shot in the leg and later discovered another victim was taken to the hospital. 

Reports show that both victims are in stable condition. 

Deputies are looking for late 90’s to early 2000, dark colored SUV that was in the area at the time of the shooting. 

Deputies said the investigation is ongoing and are looking into a possible gang relation.
