Two suspects arrested after drugs seized by Kern County Sheriff's Office deputies

WOFFORD HEIGHTS, Calif. - Deputies arrested two people last night for the possession of drugs.

On June 19, at about 10:00 p.m., Kern Valley Substation deputies conducted a probation search and warrant service at a home located in the 100 block of Park Way in Wofford Heights. 

During a protective sweep of the residence deputies located Methamphetamine in a locked bedroom.  Deputies obtained a search warrant for the home. 

Deputies served the search warrant and found abou ttwo ounces of Methamphetamine, along with indicia consistent with the sales of controlled substances.  Deputies seized about $7,200 in cash. 

Among the subjects arrested were 42-year-old Tanessa Mendoza and 45-year-old Tiffani Hedges for possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sales, and under the influence of a controlled substance.  

Hedges and Mendoza were booked into the Central Receiving Facility.
