On Thursday, August 25, at 5:30pm, officers responded to the 1700 block of Union Avenue for a victim of a shooting.
Upon their arrival, they located an adult male victim in the roadway with several gunshot wounds. The shooting is believed to have occurred at the Residence Hotel, 1622 Union Avenue.
The male victim was transported to a local hospital where he was listed in stable condition. Several persons of interest were detained at the scene.
Investigation is continuing.
