Unwanted Halloween candy wanted for troops overseas

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Operation Gratitude is making an effort to send treats to troops.

The program is an event that collects unwanted Halloween candy from kids to send overseas. The organizers will also accept other things like lipbalm, toothpaste, and toothbrushes.

Candy will be collected at the Rockwell Cafe on 23rd and Chester across from the Jack-In-The-Box from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
