BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - New details have been released about an East Bakersfield fire.
Officials are now saying 12 people have been displaced by the fire that happened early Tuesday morning in the 1700 block of Lake Street.
The number was originally reported as just two.
Kern County Fire crews said the building caught fire after a car parked outside went up in flames.
There are still no reports of any injuries.
