Frazier Park, Calif. - The U.S. Forest Services identified a marijuana grow on Thursday after noticing the grow while helping fight the 'Water fire'.
Kern County Sheriff's officials said that the grow had been found about 3 miles northwest of Frazier Park.
The area was so remote that forest crews had to be brought in by a helicopter to cut down the grow and the marijuana plants had to be airlifted out by the US Forest Service, officials said.
Forest service officials believe that the springs in the area served as a water source for the grow.
No arrest have been made.
The Sheriff's office is still investigating the situation.
