Veterans' Day is November 11, and multiple local restaurants are offering vets deals for their service.
Applebee’s: Free meal from a special menu. Current and former military personnel will also receive a $5 coupon to be redeemed on additional food and beverage offerings or for a later time.
Bakersfield Pizza Co. & Bar: Free Patriot Pizza (personal pan pizza pepperoni, cheese and sausage).
BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse: Free entree, up to $12.95 value. Guests over the age of 21 can enjoy a beer for $5, choosing from BJ’s 11 signature beers and cider on tap.
Black Angus: On Veterans Day, all veterans and active duty personnel will receive a free Top Sirloin Steak Dinner, with home-style mashed potatoes,fresh broccoli with garlic butter and sweet molasses bread. Offer is good Veterans Day November 11th 2016.
California Pizza Kitchen: Choose a pizza, full-size salad, or pasta from a special menu.
Chili's: Free entree from special menu.
Chipotle: Buy one, get one free deal from 3 p.m. until closing.
Chuck E. Cheese's: Chuck E. Cheese's is giving out one free personal pizza to all active and retired military members at participating stores nationwide. A Uniformed Services ID card or Common Access Card is required.
Denny's: Free Build Your Own Grand Slam from 5 a.m. to noon.
Famous Dave’s: The Veterans Day free meal at Famous Dave's includes a Two Meat BBQ Salute. This offer is valid all day on November 11 at participating Famous Dave's locations only. Proof of service is required and it does not include a beverage.
Farmer Boys: Veterans and active duty military may receive a free Big Cheeseburger on Friday, November 11. To receive offer show valid ID or proof of service. Limit 1 per guest, and not valid in the drive-thru.
Golden Corral: Free dinner from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Guild House: Veterans get a $3 discount on their lunch (normally $15.95 plus tax and gratuity) at the downtown restaurant. Reservations are recommended, call (661) 325-5478.
Hooters: Free meal from a select menu with beverage purchase.
IHOP: Free red, white and blue pancakes from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Mimi’s Cafe: Free entree from special Veterans Day menu. On Nov. 12 and 13, veterans and active duty military will also receive their choice of entree from the special menu for $5.99 with the purchase of any nonalcoholic beverage.
Olive Garden: Free entree from special menu.
Outback Steakhouse: Free Bloomin’ Onion and nonalcoholic beverage.
Red Lobster: Free appetizer or dessert from select list, available Nov. 10 and 11.
Red Robin: Free Tavern Double burger with bottomless steak fries.
Starbucks: Free tall brewed coffee for active duty, veterans and their spouses.
Wienerschnitzel: Free chili dog, small fries and 20 oz. drink.
