Victim jumped, stabbed by 3 strangers in Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -
Three unknown men are wanted after stabbing a stranger in Bakersfield Saturday night.
On Nov. 24, at about 7:50 p.m., deputies went to a victim of a stabbing at Kern Medical Center.
Officials said the 33-year-old male victim stated he was walking in the area of Security Street and Barlow Street when he was approached by three unknown Hispanic males wearing dark clothing.
The suspects attempted to start a fight with the victim when one of the suspects lunged at him with a knife. The armed suspect stabbed the victim above his left eye causing a 2-3 inch cut.
The victim continued to fight and eventually the suspects fled on foot.
The victim was transported to Kern Medical Center where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The suspects are described as three Hispanic males in their early twenties wearing black hooded sweatshirts and dark pants. The suspects are between 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches in height with a medium build. The weapon is still outstanding.
The investigation is currently ongoing.
