WASCO, Calif. - Families living in Wasco who have been affected by the drought will be getting a little help.
The Community Action Partnership of Kern is giving out boxes of pre-packaged food to families at the Wasco VFW Hall on 1280 Poplar Avenue, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
To be eligible, you must be able to prove that you live in a household where drought conditions have caused under-employment or unemployment.
