Wasco parolee arrested for sales of controlled substances and illegal possession of firearms

Parolee had about a hundred rounds of ammunition

WASCO, Calif. -  

Wasco Deputies arrested a parolee for sales of controlled substances and illegal possession of firearms on Tuesday.

On Nov. 20, Wasco Substation deputies went to the 1000 block of E Street to conduct a parole search of the house. 

During the search of the parolee's house, 30-year-old Martin Fernandez, was found in possession of two firearms, about a hundred rounds of ammunition, five ounces of marijuana, a small amount of suspected methamphetamine, narcotics paraphernalia, a large amount of U.S. currency, and other evidence indicating the sales of controlled substances. 

Fernandez was arrested on several charges including possession of marijuana for sales, felon in possession of firearms, felon in possession of ammunition, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of narcotics paraphernalia.
