Wasco Prison inmate escapee found, in custody

WASCO, Calif. - An escaped inmate is back in custody, according to prison officials.

On March 5, at about 7 p.m., officials at the Wasco State Prison received information regarding 42-year-old Michael Howard Devlin who had walked away from the institution on March 2.

Devlin was arrested by the Parlier Police Department along with California Dept. of Corrections and Rehabilitation Special Services Unit Agents.

According to officials, he was later taken to Wasco State Prison.  

Devlin is serving a sentence for possession of a controlled substance and carrying a concealed dagger.
