BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Bakersfield police officers are searching who the driver who slammed into a water main at the Park at Riverwalk.
The accident just before 4:00 a.m. Wednesday morning at the intersection of Stockdale Highway and Buena Vista Road.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the driver of a red convertible hit a median and careened into the main, which sent water gushing into the park's parking lot. The driver left the mangled car behind and fled from the scene of the crash.
No arrests have been made as of 7:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.
