Way Fire near Wofford Heights nearing full containment

The mop-up continues Friday morning on a wildfire that's burning in the mountains above Lake Isabella.
The U.S. Forest Service says the Way Fire is now 72% contained, and no new homes or structures have been destroyed.
The blaze, which started Monday, has blackened a total of 4,031 acres -- or more than 6 square miles -- of dry brush between Wofford Heights and Kernville.  Eight homes and 10 smaller buildings have been lost to the flames.
There are no longer any evacuations or road closures in the area, and fire officials say smoke isn't affecting nearby communities.
