Murray Family Farms October Fun Fest

There will be hay rides, face painting, crafts, a petting zoo and mazes. Admission ($10.99) comes with one pumpkin.

Picnic in the Garden

The Bakersfield Museum of Art is hosting a picnic, encouraging families to bring a lunch and a blanket and enjoy art by Roland Petersen.

Tickets are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, and $2 for students. Members get free admission.

Raiders Viewing Party

Raiders Nation is welcome at Cataldo's Pizzerias on Niles. Members of the Bakersfield "Black Hole" meet there to watch games.

Kickoff is at 1:25 p.m.

Haggin Oaks Farmers' Market

Fresh and tasty seasonal fruits and vegetables will be available at the farmers' market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot of Kaiser Permanente on Ming Avenue.
