Wild, wild west taking over Kern County at the Whiskey Flat Days event

KERNVILLE, Calif. - This year Whiskey Flat Days is celebrating 57 years of its wild west take-over in Kernville. Thousands are expected to come out and join the fun, as it honors an era of miners and cowboys.

A carnival will leave promises of fun for everyone in the family, and there will also be vendors of every sort on every block.

The event is projected to break the record number of people who have ever attended.

The last day of the event is Monday Feb. 17 and it goes from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
