BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield City Council is considering bringing in a new manager of events at several locations, including Rabobank Arena.
The management company in mind, AEG Facilities, manages the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
AEG would replace the SMG as the manager of Rabobank, the San Joaquin Community Hospital Ice Center, and Bright House Networks Amphitheatre.
SMG's contract with the city expires June 30.
