Witnesses: Multiple men shoot, kill man -  

Witnesses said a group of men shot and killed a man in Central Bakersfield early Saturday morning.

The Bakersfield Police Officers went to the 300 block of East California Avenue at about 2 a.m. on Saturday because reports of gun shots.  

Officers arrived and said they located 29-year-old Joaquin Nuno, Jr. on Broad Street suffering from gunshot wounds.  

Officials said he was taken to a local hospital where he later died. 

Witnesses said a group of men were chasing the victim on East California Avenue when one of them shot the victim.  The suspects are unidentified at this time.
