DELANO, Calif. - Due to recent thefts in the farmlands in the Delano area, the Rural Crime Investigation Unit conducted surveillance in that area.
On June 14, a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle driven by Michelle Terese Blaylock.
During the traffic stop, Blaylock was found in possession of farm equipment which was determined to be stolen.
A further search of the vehicle revealed Blaylock was also in possession of .5 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Blaylock was arrested for possession of stolen property, grand theft, conspiracy, possession of methamphetamine, transportation of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Blaylock was taken and booked into the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Central Receiving Facility.
