BAKERSFIELD - Witnesses say a woman crashed into Juicy Burger, a busy northeast Bakersfield restaurant shortly after 9 p.m. Thursday.
One witness said they saw the woman leave RJ’s, a local pub directly located close to the restaurant. She hit at least a few vehicles before crashing into the business.
Among the people in the restaurant were a few first responders who were off duty at the time. They rushed out, broke the driver side window and helped the woman out of her ford pickup truck.
Building inspectors on the scene said the damage was moderate and the business will be able to open as schedule on Friday.
No one was injured in the incident.
