BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The coroner's office has identified the victim in a deadly overnight crash in southwest Bakersfield.
Officials say 33-year-old Shawna Throneberry was riding a motorcycle on Real Road just after 11 p.m. Thursday.
As she approached the intersection, officers with the California Highway Patrol said a car turned left in front of Throneberry causing her to crash into it.
She was taken to Kern Medical Center where she died a short time later.
