BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A local driver has taken a plea deal in the accident that injured a Bakersfield police officer.

The Bakersfield Californian reports Lisa Ann Celedon pleaded no contest to felony hit and run, after officers said she pulled out in front of motorcycle officer Brian Looney on Truxtun Avenue, back on Sept. 10 of last year.

He broke his arm in the crash.

She drove away from the scene of the accident, but was later taken into custody.

She'll be sentenced on March 26.
