The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance in locating Victoria Guzman.
Guzman is wanted for questioning in a homicide investigation.
On March 20, the body of Silvestre Soto was discovered in the area of Bena and Neumarkel roads east of Bakersfield.
Guzman is a person of interest in the investigation.
She also has a misdemeanor warrant for narcotics charges. Guzman is known to frequent the east Bakersfield and Oildale areas.
If anyone has information on her whereabouts they are asked to call Detective T.J. Robins at 661-392-4344, the Sheriff’s Office at 661-861-3110 or Secret Witness at 661-322-4040. Anonymous text tips can be sent to TIP411 (847411). Just type the keyword “KCSO” prior to the message.
