What will appear on the November ballot was served alongside bubbles tonight.

The Junior League of Bakersfield held an event called Bubbles and Ballots. It served as an informational session in order to learn more about the propositions being voted on this election.

Senior SPAC Delegte for the Junior League of Bakersfield, Kathryn Drewry, also teaches history and government at Ridgeview Highschool.

She brought some of the senior girls in her class so they could learn more about what they have already been taught in the classroom.

Drewry says young voters are very important when it comes to elections.

"I think many times the youngest voters think they don't make a difference and I've been trying to encourage our students that together they can create a flood of influence in our communities.

Drewry says that she will be seeing her students in the classroom again tomorrow, where they will continue to learn about the political process and the issues being faced on the ballot.
