BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A wounded warrior from Bakersfield who was seriously injured last year in Afghanistan continues his remarkable recovery.
A picture of Lance Corporal Josh Brubaker at the Walter Reed Medical Center near Washington D.C., was sent to us by a family friend.
It's the first time he's stood up since an improvised explosive device took off his left leg below the knee in June. His right leg later had to be amputated due to an infection.
