Xerox: 150 Bakersfield employees to be laid off this summer

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - More than 100 people in Bakersfield will be looking for a new job this summer.
A Xerox corporate affiliate has let state officials know it plans to lay off 150 of its Bakersfield employees on July 19.
The jobs will be cut from the company affiliated computer services incorporated which was bought by Xerox in 2010.
An ACS spokesperson didn't say how many jobs will remain in Bakersfield, only indicating the company will maintain a strong presence here.
