BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A young man was shot Tuesday afternoon in east Bakersfield.
At about 4:03 p.m. police responded to a shooting at Clyde and East 3rd Street. They found a 17-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to his upper torso.
Officials said he was transported to the hospital and his injury was not life threatening.
The initial investigation revealed a possible suspect vehicle involved, described as a possible gray SUV by witnesses, police said.
According to witnesses the suspect vehicle was occupied by at least two black men at the time of the shooting.
