Low-Cost Spay And Neuter Program Hits Kern County

Kern County is getting a low-cost spay and neuter program, but your pets must be willing to travel.

Kern County Animal Control has teamed up with the Fresno-based "Hope" animal foundation.

The program is not income based and is open to everyone in Kern County.

The cost ranges from $35 to $45 for cats, and $55 to $65 for dogs.

The first day is Sept. 24. Call for reservations.
