Detectives Said They Found Several Child Pornography Images On His Computer

On April 30, detectives from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Sexual Assault and Abuse Investigation Unit, acting in conjunction with detectives from the Fresno County Sheriff’s Department Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, federal agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and Kern County Sheriff’s Deputies from the Kern Valley Substation served a search warrant at 8037 Lazy Lane in Onyx, California.

The search warrant was issued in connection with an ICAC investigation concerning the distribution of child pornography from an Internet account at that location. The ICAC Task Force Program is a cooperative effort between law enforcement agencies throughout the United States.

During the search of 48-year-old, Christopher Roberts’ residence, detectives said they found several child pornography images from Roberts’ computer.

The computer and related items were seized.

Roberts was arrested for possession of child pornography and distribution of child pornography.

Roberts was transported to Bakersfield and booked into the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Central Receiving Facility for distribution of child pornography and possession of child pornography.
