BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A local man is free this morning after murder charges against him were dismissed.

Kevin Glover appeared in court yesterday expecting a trial date to be rescheduled for his third trial.

But instead, his case was dismissed.

Prosecutors believed Glover helped organize the ambush and murder of Joe Wooten back in 2009.

Glover's daughter, Sheri Glover and her friend, Christopher Cain, have already been sentenced to life in prison without parole.
