New Details: Mira Monte Coach Accused Of Sex With Minors

Court Documents Reveal Inappropriate Conduct

New allegations are surfacing in the case of a Mira Monte High School coach accused of having sex with a female student.

Court documents show former Mira Monte girls soccer coach Saul Lopez targeted more than just the two girls he's accused of having inappropriate relationships with.

Several girls on the JV and varsity soccer teams told investigators on more than one occasion Lopez flirted with them and touched them inappropriately, according to court documents.

  • Lopez is accused of taking a 16-year-old female student to a local liquor store last month to buy condoms and then to his home to have sex.

The girl told investigators she and Lopez kissed several times at school and had sex at his home twice. Lopez told investigators that the girl came on to him and that he had no intentions of having sex with her. And once they were at his house she was the aggressor.

Lopez's wife denies any knowledge of the affair. She says he told her he resigned from his job because he had been exchanging inappropriate text messages with a student.
