DENVER, Colo. - It's the morning after the big debate and early verdicts show Mitt Romney as the winner.

A majority of people who watched last night's presidential debate say the republican out-performed President Obama.

The first presidential debate focused on domestic issues and the candidates found plenty to spar over, including health care reform and the deficit.  The president challenged Governor Romney's numbers.

While Romney emphasized one of his campaign principles.

The debate was low on drama and high on energy, particularly from Romney.

No matter what happened last night, the real test for the candidates comes on Nov. 6.

The next presidential debate is Oct. 16 in New York and the third takes place at the end of the month in Florida.

The vice presidential candidates square off next week in Kentucky.
