WASHINGTON - The IRS has announced it will start processing tax returns on January 30.

There was some concern the new fiscal cliff tax laws would delay the start of filing season, but it's only starting a week later than expected.

Those claiming residential energy credits or general business credits will have to wait until late Feb. or March.
