WASHINGTON - The Obama Administration is expected to roll out a proposal intended to clean up gasoline and automobile emissions.
The Environmental Protection Agency estimates the rule to reduce sulfur in gas and tighten emissions standards on cars beginning in 2017 could increase gas prices by less than a penny per gallon.
The oil industry, republicans, and some democrats had called for the EPA to delay the rule, citing higher costs.
