WESTWOOD, Calif. - An earthquake may have woken up people in the Los Angeles area Monday morning.
The United States Geological Survey reported a 4.7 earthquake at 6:25 a.m. that originated 5 miles northwest of Westwood, Calif.
The USGS later downgraded the magnitude to 4.4.
The earthquake was strongly felt across Los Angeles, according to the Associated Press.
There are no current reports of injuries, according to ABC News.
