Amber Alert issued in California for teen allegedly abducted in Washington

Alert issued for 14-year-old Elizabeth Romero

A statewide Amber Alert has been activated for a teen allegedly abducted in Washington state.

According to authorities, on Wednesday afternoon, 14-year-old Elizabeth Romero was allegedly kidnapped by 19-year-old Eduardo Flores-Rosalas in Kennewick, Wash.

The Amber Alert was activated in California at the request by Washington authorities because they believe the suspect may be heading to Mexico.

Romero is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 3 inches tall, 130 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white tank top, dark pants, backpack and a pink purse.

Flores-Rosalas is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 200 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. No description was given for his clothing.

The suspect was last seen driving an early 2000s green Ford Escape with a Washington temporary registration.

Anyone who sees the suspect and/or victim is urged to contact authorities.
