BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -

Days after Bakersfield announced it would not be hosting a leg of next years Amgen Tour of California... A Bay Area City is pulling out as well.

The City of Livermore says it will not dish out the money to have the premier cyclying event roll through town.

Earlier this week..Bakersfield announced it withdrew its bid because of fundraising difficulties.

Livermore has been a start and finish point for legs in the race for the past two years.

Livermore officials say because the city is facing hard times financially it would not make sense to pay money to host the race.
