LOS ANGELES (AP) -
A Southern California man has been arrested for making incoherent but violent threats mentioning the Connecticut school shooting and Osama bin Laden in a Facebook post.
The Los Angeles Daily News reports 37-year-old Mohammad Akbar Baraki was arrested Wednesday after writing that "more kids must be killed," saying he was giving a "final warning all Americans."
LAPD Lt. Silvia Atwater says the Porter Ranch resident's home was searched and Baraki was arrested after two air rifles were found.
Though the rifles aren't illegal, they violate Baraki's probation for a drug offense.
Authorities don't expect Baraki to be charged with making threats because the law requires an identifiable victim who is afraid, but he remained jailed without bail late Thursday.
