Southern California fire officials say a fast-moving wildfire has burned nearly 60 acres in Riverside County near Banning, where winds are blowing at 29 mph.
County fire spokeswoman Jody Hagemann says the fire broke out at about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, and is burning through light and medium fuel.

More than 150 firefighters are on the scene, with six helicopters and six air tankers making water drops.
