Man accused, arrested of murder

PARLIER, Calif. -
On Wednesday, March 6, at about 9:30 p.m., officers from the Parlier Police Department responded to the Salandini Apartments located at 13785 East Manning in the City of Parlier regarding a family disturbance.
Upon arrival, Parlier Police Officers said they found an adult man in his early 40’s suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was taken to Adventist Medical Center in the city of Reedley where he was later pronounced dead.
The victim’s identity is not being released at this time and the autopsy results are pending.
Shortly after arriving, Parlier Police Officers said they arrested 69-year-old suspect Robert Sampson Lopez outside the apartment for the murder. At that time, Parlier Police requested the Fresno County Sheriff’s Homicide Unit take over the investigation.
