Police: Man in Glendale shootout stole truck

PHOENIX - Police say a man killed in a shootout with Glendale police that also left an officer wounded had stolen a truck before the confrontation.

Authorities say the 21-year-old ran through yards and threatened residents with a gun.

According to police, Wagner stole the handgun later used in shootout with police.

K9 Officer Wes Zygmont was wounded in the shootout and later released from a hospital.

But a police K-9 called Ronin was killed.
